Excel and I just began running together in the spring of 2018. I have been doing agility since I was eleven years old, but this will be my first experience at worlds. Excel has been a part of the Canadian team travelling to IFCS a couple of times with different handlers. He has brought home two medals in his travels - NO PRESSURE.
Excel has been one of my favourite dogs from the time he was a puppy. He is driven, hard-working, and honest, and he has personality to boot. I ran with him on and off over the years just for fun, so when I was asked if I would consider running him to apply for the AAC agility team I was honoured.
Excel and I put in a lot of hard work together leading up to nationals where we ran in pre-qual, international rounds, steeplechase, and the nationals rounds. We improved greatly as a team over the weekend, and I am so excited to have been accepted to the 2019 AAC agility team.
He gives 110% on the course every time, and I hope to be the handler he deserves out there. I cannot wait to put it all on the line with this special boy in Hellendoorn!
